I’m just on my way off to Cape Town to shoot the FIFA Green Point Soccer Stadium there but couldn’t help quickly playing around with my new B&W 110 Neutral Density filter that arrived in today’s post from the USA. It’s a phenomenal tool, almost pitch black to the eye, reducing available light to a camera sensor by a whopping factor of 1000 (10 stops) enabling VERY long exposure shooting in bright daylight conditions. I look forward to experimenting with the creative effects it makes possible with architectural imagery including exaggerated blurred skies as this image of ‘The Gardens’ residential development across my valley demonstrates…
