Located on the wild and remote outer edge of Cape Naturaliste in south western Australia this has to surely rate as one of the most beautiful destinations on earth. Whilst in all honesty the image below does little justice to the true majesty of the ‘rock’ it compares perhaps with some similarity to the equally breathtaking ‘Hole in the Wall’ located on the remote Eastern Cape stretch of South Africa for those that have ever visited there.

Most interesting about this image perhaps is that it’s actually taken at ten past nine at night (yes 21:10pm), the whole scene lit with nothing other than moonlight on along exposure as the full moon rises behind my back slowly extending its light down over the hill and into the shadows directly at the foot of the image (you might even be able to make out the star lit sky?)
