Celebrating the work of one of Durban’s most influential architectural practices this unique and detailed exhibition prominently featuring my photography opens at the KZNSA Gallery (166 Bulwer Road, Durban) with an elaborate invitation-only cheese-and-wine event on the evening of 12th May 2011.

With a unique style of eclectic architecture that defined the Durban skyline in the late 1950’s Crofton and Benjamin’s buildings stand proud and prominent on the Marine Parade, Esplanade, Berea, Pietermaritzburg and on the north and south coast of KwaZulu Natal.

Honouring their pioneering contribution to KwaZulu Natal architecture Issey Benjamin himself will be flown out from the UK by the ‘KwaZulu Natal Institute for Architecture’ to attend the opening gala event and receive an honorary award for their work.

Invitations to the opening night can be obtained by contacting Georgie Chennells at the KZNIA directly.
