And now for something completely different: a commission to photograph an impressive and massive cold store facility south of Durban. The cold rooms are all mostly regulated to just 2 degrees Celsius to control the ripening of fruit as it gets ready to be shipped abroad so it was a bit like photographing in the Antarctic and it was an interesting game controlling condensation inside my lenses and camera body.

It was quite eye-opening seeing the large volume of fresh fruit being shipped abroad and quite how high-tech, controlled and regulated the refrigeration process is from picking to storage to shipping to delivery.
